Yanitsa Ramirez was born and raised here in Arizona and is a proud daughter of immigrants from Sonora, Mexico. She attended Arizona State University as a first generation student and graduated summa cum laude with her B.A. in Social Work. Yanitsa joins the Florence Project in 2023 and is excited to be joining an organization that advocates for immigration rights. In her spare time, Yanitsa enjoys reading, running, and practicing pottery.
