Daniela Ugaz graduated from NYU Law in 2021. At NYU she was part of the Immigrant Rights Clinic where she focused on advocating for the rights of those caught at the intersection of the U.S. immigration and carceral systems. Daniela is also a translator and has, along with her husband, co-translated a number of books focused on immigration. As a child of immigrants, Daniela has long been interested in the plight of immigrants in the U.S. and in advocating for their right to feel welcomed and at home in the U.S. In her free time, Daniela enjoys spending the day outdoors with her toddler, family, and friends.
