Nancy is an ASU student on her 2nd year to complete her master’s in social work. She has previously worked with refugees through Catholic Charities. She graduated from College of St. Scholastica with her bachelor’s degree in social work in 2018. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Lily. Her favorite quote is “Life is about accepting the challenges along the way, choosing to keep moving forward, and savoring the journey.” -Roy T. Bennett. What motivates Nancy to do what she wants is knowing the small impact she can make to help others. Knowing that she is helping other people and continuing to push herself to be able to make a change in a positive matter.
