Kathy Luevano


Kathy was born and raised in California and moved to Arizona in 2018. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants and spent much of her youth visiting her parents’ hometown in the state of Jalisco, where she fell in love with the Mexican culture, customs, and traditions. She was the first in her family to attend and graduate from college, earning her Associate’s Degree in Social Sciences from Santa Rosa Junior College and her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Sonoma State University. Prior to joining the Florence Project, she was the Director of Immigration for a Phoenix Law Firm. She also worked for Catholic Charities of California, working closely with the District Attorney’s office in helping victims of crime apply for U and T Visas. She joined FIRRP in December of 2021. She is the proud mother of a beautiful baby boy, and dog-mom to a schnoodle.
