Kimberly is a legal administrative assistant with the direct representation adult team and has been with the Florence Project since May 2023. Prior to that, she interned with Chicanos Por La Causa’s immigration services department and with the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management where she developed the Magnificent Tree Program that recognizes Arizona’s largest, oldest, and most culturally significant trees. Kimberly graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in English. While there, she received the university’s Earth Grant and published a short story in SandScript Art & Literature’s 2020 edition. In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys roller skating, spending time with her chihuahua Poco, and checking out Tucson’s local comedy scene. Kimberly believes that a positive attitude and optimistic mindset makes anything possible.
