Ivy was born and raised in Bloomington, IN. She graduated from Duke University School of Law, where she served as president of the local ACLU chapter, participated in the Children’s Law Clinic, and volunteered with a local immigration nonprofit. Before law school, Ivy earned degrees in International Studies and Spanish and studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. She has a passion for fighting for the rights and interests of underserved children. In her free time, Ivy enjoys collaging, playing volleyball, and hiking and camping in the mountains with her little dog, Roo.
