Katie joined the Florence Project as a summer intern, but she happily returned full time in September of 2022. Katie graduated from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she was the student director for the Immigration Initiative, an editor on the Law Journal for Social Justice, a participant in the Immigration Clinic, and the music director for Law Cappella (an a cappella group made up entirely of law students!). Katie was born in Arizona, so enjoying the sweltering heat comes naturally to her. She spends her free time learning new songs on the piano, napping with Winston the cat, and visiting her favorite restaurants.
