Born and raised in Arizona, Alexa Franco- also known as Dulce, is a proud first-generation, queer, Chicana. Her service as a high school volunteer in nonprofit organizations Mi Familia Vota and Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA), served as a catalyst for her to become an advocate for the community and amplify voices of vulnerable populations. Earning two Bachelors of Arts degrees in International Affairs and Spanish from Northern Arizona University, Alexa is dedicated to her role in empowering el pueblo.
When away from the office, Alexa unwinds in quality time spent with friends and family preferably over un cafecito or breaking bread.
Overall, she is a free spirit who cares deeply for her loved ones, quien lucha para su comunidad, and who truly believes in the power of people.
Stay up to date with the Florence Project and our unwavering fight for immigrants' rights.
