Juliana is from California and proud daughter of Mexican immigrant parents, originally from Jalisco and Colima, Mexico. She is a first-generation college graduate. Juliana earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Arizona State University in 2015. She soon after stated to work at a residential treatment center caring for children and later transitioned to case management. As a case manager, she assisted in reunifying children with their loved ones in the United States. In her most recent role, she worked with families and children connecting them to therapy services and community resources. Through her different experiences, she has found her passion and commitment for advocacy and giving a voice to vulnerable populations. In her spare time, Juliana enjoys lifting weights at her local gym and spending time with her family and friends.
