Mary (she/her) was born and raised in South Phoenix. She is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants from Zacatecas and Durango. Mary is a first generation college graduate. She obtained her BSW from Arizona State University in 2016 and MSW from the University of Washington in 2020. Most of her experience has been working within the child welfare system. She also has experience working in homeless youth services and children’s behavioral health. She spent the last four years in Seattle, Washington and is excited to get back to her roots. When she’s not spending time with her family, she is caring for her houseplants, walking her dogs, or boxing.
