Leslye Carrillo is a legal administrative assistant for the Children’s Program. She graduated from Arizona State University (ASU) with a bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies in May of 2021. During her time at ASU, Leslye was advocacy director for a student organization that aimed to create and provide resources to undocumented students at the university and in the wider community. As an advocate for immigrant rights, Leslye is looking forward to taking her advocacy to the legal field, where she hopes to provide aid to children detained in Arizona. In her free time, Leslye enjoys dancing, hiking, and traveling with friends and family.
