Glaucia was born and raised in Brazil and has been an Arizona resident since 2010. Prior to moving to the United States, Glaucia attended law school in Brazil for four years and then transferred her studies to the United States. At the University of Arizona, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with focus on International Relations and her law degree. During law school, Glaucia volunteered for an international nonprofit organization in Switzerland that focused in providing competent legal representation in criminal courts to citizens of developing countries. After law school, she served as judicial law clerk for the Pima County Juvenile Court and as Deputy Public Defender for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. Glaucia enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and Mexican food – “the spicier the better!”
