When Amanda left her first real job – researching country conditions for an organization that provided free legal services for asylum seekers – her coworkers told her that she would be back, that everyone always comes back. After college in Durham, the Peace Corps in Guyana, law school in Boulder, being a Public Defender in Colorado and then working in a nonprofit devoted to overturning cases where the system had failed, and after countless adventures at home and all over the world, as predicted, she is back and excited to start this new/old chapter with the Florence Project.
Stay up to date with the Florence Project and our unwavering fight for immigrants' rights.
