Elia (she/her/ella) grew up in San Diego and recently moved to Arizona. She graduated in 2020 from the University of San Diego with a B.A. in Political Science, and her studies focused on U.S.-Latin American relations, feminist theory, and ethnic studies. During college, she worked at the on-campus Women’s Commons and spent her summers working in the office of a local criminal defense attorney. After graduation, she continued to expand her knowledge of the legal field at a litigation firm and is now excited to help carry out the mission of the Florence Project. In her free time, Elia loves to read, cook, and spend time with her partner and their kitten, Kimchi, and with family.
