Our endowment is the financial foundation that protects our work far into the future. When you give to the endowment, you help build a sustainable base that allows the Florence Project to weather uncertainty, plan boldly, and remain a reliable source of advocacy and compassion for those who need it most. 

Endowment gifts are invested for long-term growth. Each year, a portion of the investment income supports the Florence Project’s immediate needs, and the remaining earnings are reinvested to preserve and grow the principal. This structure ensures that your gift continues to generate support indefinitely. 

You may choose to make a gift to the endowment today, or you may direct a planned gift to strengthen the Florence Project’s endowment in the future.

How the Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) Supports Our Endowment

The Arizona Community Foundation (ACF) manages our endowment within a diversified, professionally overseen investment portfolio designed for long-term growth. ACF pools assets across five distinct investment pools, each managed by external advisors who focus on maintaining the principal while generating sustainable annual distributions. 

ACF follows a prudent spending policy. Each year, a portion of the fund is distributed to support the Florence Project, while the principal remains intact to ensure permanent, reliable funding. This approach allows the endowment to grow over time, outpace inflation, and continue supporting our mission in perpetuity.
